In early 2004, PIMC purchased a building at 6536 SE Duke in Portland.  We continue to offer the programs that you have come to know and love, but we now have many new opportunities, thanks to the freedom that the new property affords.

PIMC held its first meeting in the new Dharma Center on May 2, 2004. A grand opening and open house ceremony for the Portland community was held on September 26, 2004. In attendance were Ruth Denison; Kyogen and Gyokuko Carlson, co-abbots of Dharma Rain Zen Center; and Chosen Bays, Abbot of the Zen Community of Oregon.
