Leigh Brasington is one of a handful of teachers in the west who are teaching the meditative absorbtion practices of Buddhism known as the Jhanas. He practiced for many years with Ayya Khema and is a successor in her lineage.

Dependent Origination (Paticca-Samuppada) is a name given by the historical Buddha to the arising of phenomena. It is variously rendered into English as "dependent origination", "conditioned genesis", "dependent co-arising", and "interdependent arising". This teaching explains causality and is a very practical way to understand how meditation can set one free from suffering.
The image at the top of this page, known as the "Wheel of Life" contains images of the twelve steps of Dependent Origination.
