Saturday February 25th, 9am-5pm.
Refuge Recovery: Is a mindfulness-based addiction recovery community that practices and utilizes Buddhist philosophy as the foundation of the recovery process. Those struggling with any form of addiction greatly benefit when they are able to understand the suffering that addiction has created while developing compassion for the pain they have experienced. We hope to serve you, and meet you on the path.
Our daylong is open to all those currently in recovery or interested in recovery from ALL addictions. The day will consist of walking and sitting meditation, periods of written reflection, mindful dialogue and a potluck lunch. The intention of the day is to deepen your practice or help inspire you to start off strong with many tools at your disposal.
We ask for a suggest donation of $35, but no one will be turned away due to lack of funds.
Please bring something to share for a Pot Luck Lunch!
