As the inaugural event of PIMC's new initiative, "Engaging The Dharma," our sangha will gather together on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018, to watch a day of live-streamed teachings by prominent Buddhist writers and thinkers on meeting global ecological crises with active compassion.
We just received the schedule of speakers from Spirit Rock, and that schedule is posted below. Arrive when you want and stay for as much of the day as you want - to learn and to socialize.
This event is being hosted by Spirit Rock Meditation Center. Among the featured speakers will be: Julia Butterfly Hill, Jack Kornfield, Joanna Macy, Anam Thubten, Rev. Angel Kyodo Williams, Verlinda Montoya, James Baraz, Naomi Newman and more. Whether you’re brand new to meditation or sitting at the precipice of enlightenment, we hope you’ll join us for this unique opportunity to meet this historic moment with a wise and responsive heart.
