our Dharma brothers and sisters the cost of retreat center lodging and
food is prohibitive.
The first "perfection" of the heart taught by the Buddha is generosity. This aspect of our spiritual training is of such importance that the Buddha is reported to have said: If you understood the importance and benefit of generosity, you would never let a single meal pass unshared.
PIMC has a Retreat Scholarship Fund to assist those who would otherwise be unable to attend.
