2023

• Offered year-long class series "Belonging, Race and Inclusion". Sangha participants discussed and learned more about DEI topics. 2023 series included:

  • ​You Belong: A Call for Connection by Sebene Selassie

  • Awakening Together by Larry Yang

  • Transcending: Trans Buddhist Voices compiled by Kevin Manders and Elizabeth Marston

  • Waking Up White: and Finding Myself in the Story of Race by Debby Irving​​

• "Dhamma Brothers" movie night

2022

• Pride and BLM flags installed

• Mission: Joy Movie Night

• Land Acknowledgement established

• Instituted the ongoing program “Exploring Belonging, Race and Inclusion” for continued study, reflection and discussion.

2021

• Committee formed

• Community survey (Survey Results shared at community meeting Feb. 2022.)

• Composed the Code of Ethics and revised the Ethics and Reconciliation Council policy

• Began the affinity group “Be Queer Now” for the LGBTQIA+ community.
