A Special Sunday: Dharma Teacher Authorization
Please join us Sunday, September 27 as we celebrate and formally recognize Paul LaVigne and Vik Anantha as authorized Dharma teachers.
After many years of Dharma practice and retreat experience, Paul and Vik have completed an extended period of teacher training at PIMC encompassing study, mentoring, teaching, practice, and service to the Sangha. Over the past year, they have worked closely with Dharma teacher Doug Pullin in an internship-style final phase of their training, culminating in their authorization to teach.
Our Sunday gathering will include meditation, reflections from Paul and Vik, and a formal ceremony in which Doug will offer teacher blessings and formally authorize Paul and Vik to teach the Dharma, with recognition from PIMC and the wider community.
The morning will honor both their individual paths and the living tradition through which the Dharma continues to be practiced, embodied, and shared.
Please join us for this joyful and meaningful occasion followed by a community potluck.

All are welcome to join our community potluck following the Sunday program. Share a meal, connect with fellow practitioners, and enjoy time together in an informal and welcoming space. Please feel free to bring a dish to share if you’re able, though no contribution is necessary — there is always enough.

Song Sangha with Adhamh Roland
