Cultivating connection along the path
“When a community dwells in harmony, they prosper in happiness.” —The Buddha

Community Potluck
Sunday, December 21 | 12pm – 2pm
All are welcome to join a community meal after our Sunday program. Bring a dish to share and enjoy food, conversation, and connection with fellow Sangha members. No registration necessary, see you there!

What to expect at Song Sangha:
-
Be guided in songs with lyrics provided or call-and-response in a low-stakes, highly supportive space (no singing experience required)

-
Songs that are inspired by the teachings and practices of Theravada and Insight Buddhism, mostly written by the facilitator (no need to identify with any religion or spirituality)

-
A lightly guided meditation that can be done standing, seated or lying down as is most available to your body (no meditation experience required)

-
Reflections on the teachings of the Buddha Dharma in relation to the songs we will be singing
-
Sharing and community building at these monthly events

Join us for an evening of meditation, Dharma reflection, and quiet celebration as we mark the turning of the year together.

Teacher trainees Paul LaVigne and Vik Anantha will lead guided meditation and a Dharma reflection from 7:00–8:30 pm (in person in the PIMC Living Room and online). Tea and potluck snacks follow, then a short ceremony in the Dharma Hall for letting-go and intention-setting.

Afterward, the hall will be open for silent sitting and walking practice until midnight, with a bell every 30 minutes. Come for all or part of the evening.
