The Buddha taught that our essential nature is wise, loving, and compassionate.
The key to revealing this essential truth is the practice of meditation.
For thousands of years, people have used Buddhist meditation as a technology of consciousness to free themselves from anxiety, self-criticism, depression, fear, and loneliness.
You too can find relief from painful moods, the racing mind, compulsions, and psychological scripts from the past. You can embrace your deepest fears and set yourself free. Doing so will liberate you to love and forgive yourself and others.
Meditation is not an escapist fantasy or a withdrawal from life. It is instead a radical acceptance of life as it is, and a diving into the vibrant heart of each living moment.
Retreat will be held in "noble silence" and will include sitting and walking mediation, guided meditation and discourses, discussions, music, poetry, movement and eating meditation.
Individual guidance will be available as needed throughout the retreat.
This will be a day of renewal, love and resting in the beauty of our being.
Suitable for long term meditators as well as those who wish to start or resuscitate a daily meditation practice.
